Tumblr, owned by Yahoo! is a microblogging platform that sits somewhere between Twitter and WordPress. It focuses on multimedia posts, mostly one single photo as an update. Tumblr is noted as having a substantial amount of adult content. At the same time, it hosts blogs for many celebrities and even the US president. What is the advantage of using a Tumblr gallery?
This feature allows you to connect your Tumblr posts to your WordPress blog. Certain bloggers use both, and like when connections form between the two platforms. Justified Image Grid can do this for you in a set it and forget it fashion.
How does a Tumblr gallery work and what can be shown?
- A Tumblr blog's recent posts, one photo representing each.
- Also works with Tumblr blogs that are on their own domain, just append /rss to their address.
- Each post must have at least one image.
