This is the jig_recent_posts_title filter for developers.
There are two ways you can customize what shows up as post title in JIG with Recent posts. First, using the Title override custom field setting, which takes a custom post meta to be used instead of the normal title. If you don't use that, here is another way.
It's a simple filter that gets the original $title and the post's $id, allowing you to make your own title for a certain post, or fetch different data from the database based on this ID.
